Trail running along Bornholm's coast

The coastal path around the Danish island of Bornholm is 120 km long and shows a varied landscape. It leads past 30 harbors and through small to medium-sized fishing villages with opportunities to stop off.

Hikers and trail runners get their money's worth here, as it occasionally involves hills and dale and the ups and downs of the dune landscape, for example at Dueodde, also challenges individual fitness levels.

We jogged two sections, around 15 kilometers each. Once from Svaneke to Snogebæk in the best weather and a second run at 4 degrees Celsius and freezing rain in a headwind from Bakkerne Havn to Snogebæk. Both runs showed the range of weather conditions here in April, which guarantees trained runners a fantastic memory value.
