The Rhine Falls near Schaffhausen is a tourist highlight in Switzerland but above all well worth seeing. It is one of the three largest waterfalls in Europe. When the water levels are high, the spray from the falling water sprays many meters high and the roar of the floods of the Rhine demands due respect.
This blog post shows various photos of a complete circumnavigation of the waterfall, some of which were taken with gray filters in order to achieve long exposure times. The waterfall appears more harmonious, but more pictorial at the expense of the dynamic impression of the strongly moving water masses.
