Comet C / 2020 F3, Neowise, was difficult to photograph above Hennef. Haze and light pollution prevented several attempts and the planned beautiful image composition with Neowise over Blankenberg Castle was unfortunately not possible. But tonight it was finally time. The lower temperatures kept the haze over Hennef at bay, the sky was relatively clear ... but it was still not possible to see Neowise with the naked eye over the heights of the Sieg-river despite determining the location with the Stellarium app. Only a "cartographic" series of many shots of different sections of the suspected area of appearance helped to find the comet using the high sensitivity of the camera sensor. The effort was worth it because one of the photos finally showed Neowise.
Now that the position had been determined, some exposure series and post-processing with Adobe Lightroom helped to present the comet. You are lucky if you can work with lower ISO values and faster shutter speeds.
