At a distance of 358,645 km, the moon already has supermoon level on April 26th, 2021, before it moves a further 1,300 km to the earth on April 27th, 2021 and gains another 0.5% in size. Its impressive size is of course especially impressive compared to known objects and there are many beautiful pictures to be seen on the Internet, in which the photographers have put a lot of effort into a successful composition.
A bank near Liesberg in the Hanfbachtal was chosen as the location for the recordings of this article. From this location you have a good view to the east to the towns of Hüchel and Uckerath. The location, time, etc. was planned with the "PhotoPills" app and beautiful series of photos were taken of the rising moon over Hüchel and a random photo of a small jet together with the super moon.
As some veil clouds impaired the moon's richness of detail, a series of 50 photos was taken in order to better represent the moon structures by means of later stackings. In the following, the result of the stacking can also be viewed in comparison to one of the non-stacked recordings. The Fitswork program was used for stacking, followed by reworking in Adobe Photoshop.
